The Anti-Defamation League thinks so.

  1. Ari,

I guess “takes one to know one” would be too easy in this case…

  5. Ari,

    1. I am a grad student. I have quite a good job, thanks for caring.

    2. The US is a Christian nation, but I disagree with O’Reilly. He’s a schmuck. But you are the last person who has any room to call someone else an anti-semite.

    3. Are your reading comprehension skills really that poor? I said that YOU have no concept of right and wrong. Not Jews, YOU. Go read it again.

No, you AREN’T all Jews. You are you. You don’t represent anyone but yourself. The fact that you are Jewish precludes you from really understanding Christ or Christianity, and the fact that you are a worthless pile of shit is why you don’t know right from wrong.

But here I am giving you just what you crave…attention.

  6. T.J.,

I am slightly confused by something you said.

If being Jewish precludes one from understanding Christ or Christianity, yet it is your desire (and if this assumption is wrong please correct it) that Jews convert to Christiantiy, does this mean a Jew who converts to Christianity is able to understand Christ, or even after converting is still not able to really understand Christ or Christianity?

    Please clarify for me, thanks.

  7. God Damn Jesus Christ in Hell!! T.J. is back, and that just sucks.

T.J., what the hell do you mean when you say “The US is a Christian nation”?? While there is a majority of people who in some way define themselves as Christian, the law of the land is freedom of religion, no matter what or how you choose (actually there are some limitations).

You also said “But you are the last person who has any room to call someone else an anti-semite.
”, but going on about your issue of “reading comprehension skills”, where does Ari call O’Reilly anti-semetic. He simply points to an article about the ADL, who DID call O’Reilly that. Actually if we really get into this whole “reading comprehension skills” idea, Ari actually questions if O’Reilly is or not, that is notated by the question mark (uh, its this thing called punctuation).

You also said “The fact that you are Jewish precludes you from really understanding Christ or Christianity”. Man, that shows a total mindset you have that no one else can understand your thinking. Why? (thats a question mark again) Because you are so sure that your way of thinking is right and that if anyone thinks anything else they are wrong, and hence can’t understand you and your righteousness. It also shows a total lack of imagination that you can’t envision someone understanding your religion without believing.

Now, sticking to your “Reading Comp” thing, you wrote “I realize you and Ari are both liberals and Jews, and as such you don’t respect Christ, Christians and you don’t know right from wrong.”(past post linked above). I’m pretty sure the proper way to read this is that your meaning is; If a person is a liberal & a Jew, they don’t know right from wrong.

Ok, thats it for now, running out of time. T.J., go back to retirement.

Or if you have to write something, don’t stick your foot in your mouth, and try something smart like “Ari, what the hell does that link have to do with Ann Arbor?? There was a local election where the democrat won by 1 vote (something like 2044 to 2043) and the repub asked for a recount, but there were voting problems (more votes to recount then voters or what not) made it so that there couldn’t be a recount. This was in the Ann Arbor News local section from about 2 days ago, sorry can’t remember the local township or whatever it was”

If a Jew believes in Christ, he stops being a Jew and becomes a Christian.

    Straw man.

” I’m pretty sure the proper way to read this is that your meaning is; If a person is a liberal & a Jew, they don’t know right from wrong.”

You’re wrong. I could have worded it better, but my intent was obviously not to say that Jews don’t know right from wrong.

    “T.J., go back to retirement.”

    Go fuck yourself.

“Or if you have to write something, don’t stick your foot in your mouth, and try something smart like “Ari, what the hell does that link have to do with Ann Arbor?? 10. Damn it, did TJ break up with his girlfriend, man I can’t blame her, but we could really use her crying like a baby about how he shouldn’t look at the offensive images that we post.

Oh, yah what a good christian telling people to fuck off.

Oh, TJ, your answers to my comment, like “straw man” and “go fuck yourself” show me how dumb you are (yes, it was evident from his past posts too).

Also, T.J., again the way you see things is so limited in view and scope, shows how narrow minded you are. Newest example “If a Jew believes in Christ, he stops being a Jew and becomes a Christian.”, uh there are people who call themselves “jews for jesus” and they consider themselves jews, while accepting jesus.

oh and you say “You’re wrong. I could have worded it better, but my intent was obviously not to say that Jews don’t know right from wrong.”, well I think your intent is to not know how to use the english language. Again I didn’t say that you said “Jews don’t know right from wrong”. You made a logical statement that ”“I realize you and Ari are both liberals and Jews, and as such you don’t respect Christ, Christians and you don’t know right from wrong.”, the way to read that is

statement “you {people} are both liberals and jews”
next statement “you don’t understand Christ & Christians”
and then conclusion “as such you don’t respect christ, christians”
and the other conclusion “you don’t know right from wrong”

my translation of what you said
=if your a liberal and a jew you don’t know right from wrong”

ALSO my higher then thou, you never addressed the fact the Ari didn’t call O’Reilly an anti-semite, he actually questioned it. This just rubs in how stupid you and your posts are, in that you started this whole thing with a stupid comment that stems from a lack of reading comprehension, no wonder you belive in the bible, you have no reading comprehension skills.

  11. I have zero to do with this conversation, but I thought I’d chip in my own two cents.

I must say that things are getting blown a bit out of proportion here – I was probably one of the most visible Jews (and conservatives) on campus while I was at UM, and I never had a problem with TJ; in fact I’d say he’s a very amicable person who definitely has no hidden agenda regarding Jews.

Whether you believe it or not, TJ was one of the most respected members of MSA because he said what he meant, not what others felt pressured into saying by groups that pushed certain agendas – that’s pretty rare on a “be liberal-or-we’ll-convert-you-and-if-you-don’t-fuck-off-and-die” campus.

  12. bjs (i assume that is brad sugar),
if t.j. is amicaable in person (and i wouldn’t know because i have never met the guy), he certainly changes when he enters the blogosphere…

anyways, t.j.’s christian supirority complex is getting old…not just because i’m a jewish agnostic, but because it was shocking at first, and now its just a lame shock tactic that has lost its vigor…

is t.j. an anti-semite??? i bet he says all this shit just to get attention (and, well, he’s good at that)...but that’s the rest i have for this thread, and let all the weirdos out of the blogosphere’s woodwork duel out for themselves…
