MacKaye's New Project to Rock Teen Center

The Evens, the new project of ex-frontman of Fugazi and Minor Threat Ian MacKaye, will be performing at the Neutral Zone, Ann Arbor’s teen-oriented (read: drug-free) fun spot on June 20th at 6:30 pm.

  1. Anyone remember the documentary from the 80’s – I think that it was called “Another State of Mind?” If I remember correctly, it featured Minor Threat and Social Distortion among others. I think that it was part of the USA network’s Nighttrax (sp?). I wasn’t heavily into the punk scene, so maybe someone could help me out with this question: Was Minor Threat from D.C.? And does anyone else remember watching the documentary that I mentioned above?

  2. Minor Threat was from DC. I’ve heard of the documentary, but never seen it—I think Youth Brigade was another band featured?

    Has anyone seen/heard anything by the Evens? Other than the Pancake Mountain video ,have they released anything?
