Polls: Kerry Won First Debate

The opinion is in. John Kerry won the first presidential debate, this on the topic of foreign policy, according to polls taken by Newsweek and the L.A. Times.

The vice presidential debate will take place on Tuesday, October 5 at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH.

The second presidential debate will take place on Friday, October 8 at Washington University, St. Louis, MO.

  2. Opinion has been in for a bloody while, actually. Still, reason for celebration.
    I went to demonstrate outside debate in Miami, and got on TV, maybe thanks to my wearing Brad Pitt “Troy” -style leather skirt and similar accoutrements, and having sign reading “Bush, you’re no Achilles -or Aragorn either”.
    (Other side of sign said, “aWol Bush—Fraud in a Flight Suit”.)
    The 76 mock coffins in the group I was with got media attention too. (76 dead U.S. soldiers in September, or something like that)
    Can’t wait for the St. Louis debate. ...May drive to the Cleveland vice-pres debate on 10/5, with sign saying “Cheney—Lapdancing Halliburton Since 1995”.
