One reason I love buying used books—I was reading a used copy of Walden I picked up, and someone had scribbled little unmentioned facts such as the one Josh describes. Changed the experience of reading the book. Though, now that I think about it, that’s one I never finished and hasn’t stuck. I might have to pick it up again.
