Some Minority Enrollment at U of M Increases

Today, the news of an increase in number of deposits to attend U of M among Black and Latino student was reported. Among Black students, there was a 20 percent increase from last year, while Latino students increased 14 percent, unfortunately the number of Native students remained the same, while their percentage decreased almost 8 percent. The increases are particularly important considering last year’s drop in enrollment among underrepresented minority students.
